  • 02.12.2015 We are presenting the BTC GRID Agent as solution for dynamic peak reduction of renewables at the VDE FNN-Fachkongress Netztechnik on 2nd and 3rd of December in Nürnberg. The BTC GRID Agent increases the capacity of distribution grids for renewable energy sources.
  • 02.10.2015 Version 1.12 of the Kieker framework for application performance monitoring and dynamic software analysis was released.

  • 25.03.2015 We are participating in the eclipse open source project openK platform (part of openKONSEQUENZ) and just passed the eclipse creation review. The project starts with CIM-based (IEC 61968, IEC 61970) feed-in management for operating distribution grids with many renewables.

Short Biography

Matthias Rohr studied computer science at the University of Oldenburg (Germany) and at the Monash University, Melbourne (Australia). Afterwards, he was researcher in the Research Training Group TrustSoft at the University of Oldenburg and an external PhD student in the Software Engineering Group at the University of Kiel (Germany). His research focused on software engineering, software performance, and software availability. Since 2008, Matthias Rohr works as a consultant and product manager at BTC Business Technology Consulting AG in Oldenburg. In 2015 he received a Ph.D. (Dr.-Ing.) in computer science from the Faculty of Engineering at Kiel University.
