Curricula

The department of computing science offers two study programme:
  • Computing Science / Informatics; ends with the "Diplom" degree; this is a traditional computer science study programme
  • Bachelor of Science; ends with the "BSc" degree

According to the formal rules (in German) there are sub-specialities:

  • Embedded Systems and Microrobotics
  • Environmental Informatics
  • Business Information Systems

Starting autumn 2003 two MSc-courses will be offered:

A German version of the curricula of computer science:

  • MSc in general Computing Science
  • MSc Embedded Systems and Microrobotics

The curricula of Computer Science (in English, in German) are available a few weeks before lectures start. The archive gives you an overview of previous courses.

Exchange students within partnership and Erasmus/Socrates programmes

With the following universities we have a partnership:
  • Technical University of Sofia, Sofia, Bulgarian
  • University Transilvania of Brasov, Brasov, Rumania
